Governing Board Member Ngian Lek Choh represented IFLA at the 2nd UCLG Culture Summit in Jeju, Korea from 10-12 May. 

The UCLG Culture Summit is the main meeting point at global level of cities, local governments and other stakeholders that are committed to the effective implementation of policies and programmes on culture and sustainability.

During the session Building a "Culture2030Goal"?  Discussion with cultural networks on 11 May she outlined the importance of IFLA’s work in relation to the UN 2030 Agenda.

One of the aspects highlighted was the recently published IFLA Statement on Libraries Safeguarding Cultural Heritage which supports the SDG target 11.4, a target achieved through the culture coalition IFLA was part of.
