Take Part – Human Perspectives on Inclusive Publishing is a global conference on inclusive publishing and accessible reading, arranged by the Swedish Agency for Accessible Media together with the Swedish DAISY Consortium and the Swedish Library Association. The aim of the conference is to increase knowledge of born accessible publications, and show how inclusion is key to support democratic development and ensure human rights globally.

IFLA Governing Board member Victoria Owen will hold a keynote on E-books the potential for inclusion, discussing the impact on accessibility and usability as libraries move from print to digital collections. The global perspective on e-books, the inclusion of people with disabilities in libraries, and the status of copyright legislation for libraries will be highlighted.

Other speakers include Alice Bah Kuhnke, Minister for Culture and Democracy, and HRH Swedish Prince Carl Philip, who is the Patron of the Dyslexia Association of Sweden.
